During the first wave of the pandemic, A Current Affair highlighted our work with one of our co-Founders, Stevie Hooper.
The channel 9 program was able to come along to one of our deliveries to Mona Vale Critical Care Unit.
"Gee there are some good people doing good things at the moment"
The program offered Australians the chance to win supermarket vouchers to feed their families and to help struggling nurses. They donated $500 to Feed Our Medics and we purchased 50 hot meals for our exhausted healthcare workers.
Not only did A Current Affair give us a supermarket voucher to spend on food for the medics - they also offered their viewers a chance to win one themselves. This was dearly appreciated as the workforce adapted to the new working from home conditions, or the furloughing of staff commenced.
